Woman sleepdrives her MINI, crashes, loses leg...

Kelly before and after the crash
The Daily Express has reported the tragic incident of Kelly Jackson, 26, who managed to get into her MINI whilst sleepwalking and drive it off from her Birmingham home - still wearing her pyjamas.

She didn't get far though, and just half a mile down the road she crashed into a tree, becoming trapped in the wreckage.

Miss Jackson, who used to work as a Marketing Executive, had to have her leg amputated above the knee after the crash. She has no recollection of the event after also suffering some brain damage.

“I have no memory of being in the car or the crash itself, I suspect I will never really know what happened but one thing I do know is that I am lucky to be alive.”

Kelly will be fundraising for Queen Elizabeth Hospital, disability charity LimbPower and The Katie Piper Foundation, which helps those living with scars and burns.
