Rare last classic Mini for sale

Mini fans are being offered the chance to snap up a showroom condition Cooper which has just 182 miles on the clock.

A private seller in Scotland is selling this 2001 Rover Mini Cooper, which is one of the last cars off the production line and has never been used outdoors other than for its initial delivery drive to its first owner.

Gary Jones, the Glasgow-based collector who is selling the car, told CCFS: “I bought the Mini about a year ago from its original owner, who had kept the car inside his house, a converted barn in the north of Scotland, for 12 years.

“It’s only done 182 miles, and in the time I’ve owned it my number one priority has to been to make sure the 183rd mile never went on it.

“It’s in stunning condition; it is, basically, a brand spanking new Mini Cooper.”

The car, which was bought new in 2001 from Inverness-based dealer Macrae and Dick and is being sold for £14,995.
