The only MSA approved national historic championship will once again be launched at the Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon.
The day will give fans and competitors alike the chance to talk to championship and event organisers, meet the Special Stage TV crew and look around some of the 2013 championship cars.
Championship Secretary John Hunt is excited to get going. “We cannot wait to show competitors the improved and exciting BHRC. We’ve got some new events, plenty of new ideas and a real focus on competitor satisfaction. We’re really looking forward to meeting the crews new and old at the launch. This year is about offering crews, fans and sponsors the best possible package of events. We strongly believe we can offer the best coverage, the biggest events and the most competitive championship”

In other BHRC news the Mintex British Historic Rally Championship has also announced its plans to increase its media coverage by engaging in several strands of “new” media.
From January 1st 2014 a new official BHRC Twitter account will go live giving a whole new generation of rally fans the chance to engage with the UK’s only national Historic Championship, as well as giving existing fans new opportunities to join in the action.
Championship secretary John Hunt hopes the step will allow more people than ever before to get closer to the action: “As a championship we are always looking to reach out to our competitors, fans and sponsors in new and interesting ways. The launch of our Twitter feed means that we can engage in real time to motorsports fans around the world”
The twitter feed will work side by side with the BHRC’s existing media outlets to provide links to articles, press releases and rally results, as well as providing fans the chance to ask their favorite competitors and championship organisers questions.
