‘Motors and Megabytes’ to be fronted by motoring presenter Andy Jaye
talkRADIO, a new personality-led speech radio station which launches on the 21st March, has today announced that motoring and gadgets will be high on the agenda, with a new show dedicated to these topics going on-air each week.
The show will include a raft of content bound to whet the appetite of any motoring fan, with new car reviews, discussion around the best used, sports and classic cars, celebrity drives and dream cars, and features on the best in innovative auto design and consumer advice. The entertaining, magazine-style show will also feature segments on the latest must-have gadgets and gizmos.
A huge motoring enthusiast, Andy has hosted numerous series for Channel 4 including British GT, F3 and Rallycross, electric racing series Formula E for ITV, while on two wheels his credits include the MotoGP at Silverstone and the Speedway GP and World Cup action for Eurosport.
Speaking on his new appointment, Andy said: “talkRADIO is bringing motoring enthusiasts across the country something that isn’t currently available to them on air. Motors and Megabytes will be a mix of Top Gear and The Gadget Show, but for the radio. I can’t wait to get behind the mic to talk about two of my biggest passions, cars and gadgets!”
