Two classic Minis were totalled and a passenger seriously injured after a lorry ploughed into the stationary cars on the hard shoulder.
The New Straits Times reports that one Mini owner, Zulkifli Abdul Razak, 43, of Shah Alam, Malaysia, saw a fellow classic Mini owner broken down on the side of the road and pulled over to help.
Whilst talking to his fellow Mini enthusiast an articulated lorry careered into their Minis smashing them to pieces and seriously injuring the passenger still in the broken down Mini.
Passers-by helped pull the injured occupant from the car who was swiftly sent to Tuanku Jaa’far Hospital by an ambulance that happened to pass by.
