Recent tests have shown that a Topgear Tuning Performance Remap can unlock up to 97HP and 120nM in torque respectively.
‘The Original Stig’ and ex-racing driver Perry McCarthy, of Topgear Tuning, said: “A remap can improve the performance of your vehicle by up to 30% and result in a more responsive engine, which makes it easier to overtake. Fuel economy can be improved by up to 8% due to a reduction in fuel consumption.
The vehicle can also be driven in a higher gear at slower speeds, thus reducing revs, and this also applies to driving when fully loaded, towing or driving through elevation changes. Overall, it unlocks engine performance.”
