MINI Challenge 2016 to feature on Channel 4

MINI Challenge has announced that this season it will be working with Hayfisher, the Premier Motorsport TV Production house for TV Coverage, with at least four rounds of the MINI CHALLENGE to be shown Channel 4 in a dedicated 30 minute programme, whilst retaining full coverage on Motors TV with dedicated 1 hour programmes for all classes.

Antony Williams, MINI CHALLENGE Promoter said:
"The news that Hayfisher and Channel 4 want to bring the MINI CHALLENGE to a much wider audience in 2016 is wonderful news for all our fans, partners, MINI UK and most importantly the competitors that make the MINI CHALLENGE happen.

The MINI CHALLENGE offers fans some of the most exciting, action packed and thrill a minute racing in the UK and in 2016 we expect that to go into overdrive, with upwards of 30 of the new 265 Bhp F56 JCW model cars entered, including entries from top BTCC teams such as Team Dynamics, Eurotech and Power Maxed.

Channel 4 viewers are in for a high octane MINI style wake up call!"

Richard Hay, Founder of Hayfisher said:
Antony and his team have done a superb job with the Challenge. It really came to our attention last year when, Charlie Butler-Henderson (who commentates for us on live events) told me about it. I obviously took an interest and was genuinely impressed by the standard of the series. The cars look fantastic, they are quick and the racing is top class. With so many of the new cars expected for 2016 as well as the continuing popularity of the other classes it will make great TV.
