RACE REPORT: MINI Challenge Rd5 - Oulton Park

MINI Challenge racing at the MINI Festival
Oulton Park 8th August 2015
All words and photos David Young & MINI Challenge

The long trip up North has become the yearly crusade to Oulton Park - a fabulous circuit in the Cheshire Country side. It may take five hours each way, but it is well worth it.  Unfortunately, only a one day meeting due to restrictions on how many full weekends MSV are allowed by the local council planners to run.

Great weather was the order of the day, with Friday practice and Saturday racing taking place in glorious sunshine. Plenty of sunscreen required.

REVIEW: Oulton Park Mini Festival 2015

Sometimes, just sometimes, certain events seems to always be blessed with good weather and blistering sunshine. I've previously experienced this at numerous visits to the Mini Cooper Register's Beaulieu show, and hopefully this trend will continue at this event at Oulton Park too.

REVIEW: MiniWorld Live 2015

12:42

Words and photos Sammieee Watts@Mini Madness

Miniworld Live was a brand new event for 2015; organised; obviously, by MiniWorld magazine and located at the famous Rockingham Motor Speedway. Despite being on the same day as the Formula 1 racing at Silverstone and numerous warnings I received from friends about the traffic issues, I went along anyway. Let's face it, nothing stops me going to a Mini show, especially a new one and the chance to go on another track!
