Five doors and a new basic engine type now make entry into the world of MINI even more convenient and highly economical at the same time. As of March 2015, the model program of the latest generation of the original in the premium segment of small cars will be expanded to include the MINI One First 5 door. As for the new MINI 3 door, this means that the five-door body variant will also offer a range of seven engine types to choose from.

MINI ALL4 Racing is virtually unstoppable, in the 2015 Dakar. Today, in
the 12th stage – to Rosario – the Argentineans Orlando Terranova and
Bernardo ‘Ronnie’ Graue, racing for the Monster Energy Rally Raid Team,
celebrated their third stage win – and the 11th of the MINI ALL4 Racing
at the same time!

The MINI ALL4 Racing is virtually unstoppable, in the 2015 Dakar. Today, in the 12th stage – to Rosario – the Argentineans Orlando Terranova and Bernardo ‘Ronnie’ Graue, racing for the Monster Energy Rally Raid Team, celebrated their third stage win – and the 11th of the MINI ALL4 Racing at the same time!

The 11th stage, from Salta to Termas Rio Hondo, also was won by a MINI ALL4 Racing. This means that 10 of the 11 stages contested to date were won by the rally car designed and built by X-raid.

Nine of the 10 Dakar stages contested to date have been won by the MINI ALL4 Racing. Today, it once again was the turn of the Qatar Rally Team pairing Nasser Al-Attiyah (QAT) / Mathieu Baumel (FRA) who extended their lead in the overall standings by another five minutes, with this success.

Today, the navigation proved to be the key factor on the way to success. The navigators of three MINI ALL4 Racing crews delivered in great style and so, they made for a great result.

Although the MINI ALL4 Racing failed to win stage eight, following seven consecutive stage wins, the desert racer once again succeeded in demonstrating its extraordinary competitiveness: six MINI ALL4 Racing vehicles made it to the top 10. And in the overall standings, things also look promising, with eight of the MINI ALL4 Racing cars holding top-20 positions.

No direct help from the outside, no mechanics, no teams. Tonight in Bolivia, the Dakar competitors are completely on their own. The first part of this marathon stage is over and once again, a MINI ALL4 Racing was the stage winner, five of the X-raid designed and built cars made it to the top 10 and nine to the top 20.

In its MINI UK production network, the business is looking for 47 new
apprentices to take up places in August 2015. In addition, BMW and
MINI retailers are looking to recruit around 150 young people across
the UK, a third more than in 2014.Skills Minister Nick Boles said: “Apprenticeships make total business sense while giving people the chance of a high-quality and respected route in to employment. That’s why it’s so encouraging to see firms like BMW leading the way in 2015 by committing to employ more apprentices. Through our reforms we have given employers like BMW the power to design top-quality apprenticeships that equip learners with the skills businesses need to grow and thrive.”
