Since last week's appeal for your best Mini pictures for our desktop calendar, we've been inundated with entries.
 
However, we've narrowed down the entries and created, not one, but two sets of pictures so you can mix and match and make your own selection of Mini calendar pics for your computer's desktop.

Thanks to everyone who sent in their pictures, even those that didn't make it, but from the response we've had, it looks like this could become an annual appeal.

Visit the website, under the Fun link you'll find the calendar pictures. Click on your favourite for each month and right-click to Save Image As. Then put your selection in a folder and Set As Desktop Background through the right-click menu.

London to become "electric car capital of Europe"

London City Mayor, Boris Johnson, has unveiled plans to make London the "electric car capital of Europe", with the installation of around 1300 EV charging points.


The scheme, named Source London, is set to be in place by 2013. The Mayor originally announced, earlier this year, that he would like 25,000 EV charging points in London by 2015, however, this figure looks to be unrealistic given the new announcement.
