- MINI JCW Team completes first full season in the Street Tuner class
- Team built on momentum of partial 2015 season with poles, podium finishes and front row starts
MINI USA is proud to congratulate the MINI JCW Race Team and LAP Motorsports Team Owner Luis Perocarpi on completing their first full season of the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge series in the Street Tuner class. The first factory-supported race team for MINI in U.S. sports car racing had an amazing season, building on the momentum of the partial season last year that concluded with the #73 MINI JCW driven by Mat Pombo and Derek Jones on the podium with a second place finish at Road Atlanta.

MINI takes to the States route announced
After much anticipation, MINI USA today announced the official route for the 2016 running of MINI TAKES THE STATES . The legendary biennial cross-country owners rally will kick off at Road Atlanta in northeast Georgia on July 9, 2016 and finish at the Thermal Club in Palm Springs, CA, on July 23, 2016.

Hundreds of MINIacs united together for MINI On The Mack 2015 where they attempted to break the Guinness World Record for largest convoy. Although they didn’t break the world record, they did have a great time taking over the famous Mackinac Bridge with the massive MINI convoy. Check out the fun here!

MINI owners in America are being invited to help attempt to break the Guiness World Record for the largest convoy of Minis later this year at the MINI on the Mack event on August 1.
MINI wrist-slapped by America's FTC
MINI in the USA has been severely reprimanded by the Federal Trade Commission for
telling customers their warranty would be void unless they used genuine MINI parts fitted at a MINI dealership.
MINI TAKES THE STATES 2014: Registration Open
For the majority of MINIacs in America, this is the biggest and best event you can take part in. Bearing in mind it only happens biennially, and is organised by MINI USA, it is an epic adventure travelling the breadth of the United States taking in a different route each time and stopping off at a number of interesting locations.
The two-week journey travels West from San Francisco through to Boston, MA. Anyone wanting to join the convoy can do, for as long at they want. There is a one-off $45 fee, and participants will have to also book and pay for their own hotels, food and fuel.

MINI enthusiasts all over America have been waiting for this... MINI Takes The States is a bi-annual event hosted by MINI USA which attracts large numbers to convoy from one side of America to the other.
This time the event journeys from San Francisco through Reno, Dallas, Chicago and Cleveland before finally arriving in Boston, MA two weeks later.
The official website is now live and registration opens on March 27, but until then MINI will be releasing snippetts of information about this year's event to whet your appetite.
