On the 16th October, Mini enthusiasts will be out in full force for the annual Mini Fair 2 and Spares Day, organised by the British Mini Club. Lancaster Insurance is thrilled to be the sole insurance sponsor and attendee at the event, following on from becoming one of the clubs official insurance partners in March.
The event is being held at Stoneleigh Park and will be the clubs’ last Mini gathering of the year. There will be an array of exciting activities on the day including big name specialists on hand to offer restoration advice as well as ‘Show & Shine’ giving people the chance to display their pride and joy and an opportunity to pick up the coveted title in five categories from 60s right through to the modern models.
Lancaster Insurance Operations Director, Richard Morley, said: “It’s great to be sponsoring an event which celebrates and supports Minis through the ages. We’re delighted to be further showing our passion and enthusiasm for the marque and we look forward to talking to many of you on the day.”
Lancaster Insurance has a long history of working with the Mini marque and has recently restored a 1969 Morris Mini Super Deluxe in aid of Prostate Cancer UK. Margo, as she’s affectionately known, will be auctioned through Silverstone Auctions at the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show on Saturday 12th November, with all proceeds going to the charity.
