Crews rev up for rally opener at the AGBO Stages

The ‘old STAGER’ asphalt stage rally championship incorporating the Mini Sport Mini Challenge opens this weekend at Weston Park with the Paintworx AGBO Stages.
The event is made up of 10 stages over the day on the asphalt surface of the park. Andrew O’Hanlon/ Ryan Taylor will be looking to make a good start in the Cat 2 title fight in their little grey Mini, alongside the 19 other Minis taking part in the event,
Other Minis include Peter Horsburgh with Graham Carter sitting in the Mini Spares-supported Mini, Shane Gamble/Bob Ward in a Morris Mini Cooper ‘s’, and Anton Bird will be beside regular pilot of Clive King in the love:mini Mini.
Championship regulars Eric Davis/Russ Joseph, Adrian Kermode/Maurice Beckett, Peter Ellerby/Phil Swanborough will all be out competing in Minis.
The new open class for ‘classic’ Minis has has attracted four crews and will be led away by Martin Melling and Carmel Venables. The event also sees the return of Geoff Taylor and Steve Greenhill in the Imp and they will be facing competiton in B1 Class from the new registration of Mathew and Dan Evans in their Imp and the 970 Mini cooper S of Ken Pryce.
32 HRCR Registered crews will be out on the event. This is best ever turnout of ‘old STAGER’ crews to the to take part in an event.
