UPCOMING: Mini Fair 2016

The end of January signals the first of the big events of the year with the British Mini Club's Mini Fair set to kick start the Mini season.



Held at the central location of Staffordshire County Showground - known as Bingley Hall - it's easy to access from even the furthest flung place in the UK. 

On Sunday January 31st, hundreds of Minis, both new and classic, will be on display once again showing off the unique styling of Minis and their owners.

Like a trade fair there are plenty of parts and accessories to purchase to bling up or fix up your Mini in preparation for the rest of the year's shows and events.

The long-established show, like all British Mini Club events, will be raffling off a classic Mini for just £1.... the best gamble a Mini enthusiast could take. Seriously? Yes, a classic Mini, in mint condition, costing over £5k and being given away for a £1 ticket.... no wonder there is such a long queue for raffle tickets! This year you could win a stunning Mini Mayfair in classic British Racing Green.

Rally legend, Paddy Hopkirk OBE, will also be in attendance taking questions and signing memorabilia.

For those with their Minis already in immaculate condition, then enter it in to the Premier Concours where it will be scrutinised by tweed-wearing, pipe-smoking experts umming and ahhing over your Mini's welding and panel gappage. If you make it through though, you could be walking away with a very nice and shiny trophy!

Mini people aren't known for being the sanest in the world, and we quite like getting dressed up and doing silly things. If you are like that too, then you'll be well tasked to sort out your club stand at the show to fit in with the theme which this year is... suprise surprise... STAR WARS!!!   So get your lightsabers and Wookies and Darth Vader masks and get creative with your cars!

With so much going on, and withdrawal symptoms kicking in since the Minis went into hibernation, this show is a must-attend, even just to catch up with old friends and get your chins wagging over a hot drink in the restaurant.
