Weekend Preview (September 19-20)

This weekend sees the return of some high octane Mini action across most motorsport formats with few Mini shows on following last weekends big hitters.


On the circuit this weekend you will find the Mini Se7ens and Miglias flat out at Silverstone (Northamptonshire) for the next round of the championship. 

Likewise the MINI Challenge cars are back in action at Donington Park, (Derbyshire).

Elsewhere, the Mighty and Super Mighty Minis are heading to Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire whilst the finely-prepared pre-66 Minis of the Masters Historic Racing series head overseas to Spa Francorchamps in Belgium as part of the famous Spa 6-hour race.

If Belgium is too far but you still fancy seeing more than just Minis in battling it out, then there is also some UK action in the Classic Touring Car Championship at Snetterton.

Away from the tarmac, rallying returns with the HRCR Mini Cup taking place at Douglas on the Isle of Man from Thursday to Saturday. And even more exciting is the dirty adventures of the BTRDA Clubmans Rallycross Championship which has two rounds this weekend at Pembrey, North Wales.
