WIN: Tickets to Brooklands Mini Day this weekend!

love:mini has teamed up with the organisers Brooklands Museum to offer one lucky reader a pair of tickets for the event this weekend in London.

Brooklands Mini Day is often the first static outdoor show of the season, with the Spring weather just beginning to warm the cockles. This is year is no different, with inconsistent weather for the past week, we're hoping the sun comes up trumps on Sunday March 29, when the gates open.

The Brooklands Museum, just inside the M25, is a perfect location to host such an event with such a great history, like the Mini, behind it.

As part of the entry fee, (unless you're our lucky winner!), you'll be able to access all the displays on show from World War II bombs and bombers, one of last remaining Concorde planes, a dedicated museum to the history of cycling and much much more.

It's a unique venue, like stepping back in time with the old wooden sheds and corrugated airfield hangers homing some of the country's most loved treasures.

But if you're not interested in the historical side and crave more adrenaline pumping through your veins, then there is another unique feature of the show - Test Hill.

Test Hill, as the name suggests was built to 'test' newly manufactured cars and bikes. With its 1:4 gradient spectators line either side of the run-up to time the Minis to the top - if they make it that is!! 

 

As well as a host of traders, large and small, offering their wares up to the public for mass consumption, there will also be club displays, as well as much much more.

The timetable for the day is as follows:
8.00am Gates open for pre-booked ticket holders
8.30am Gates open for all Mini
9.00am Gates open to the public
10.00am Autotest (Staff Car Park – any Mini can take part)
2.30pm Test Hill Drivers and Passengers Briefing & Sign on
3.00pm Test Hill ascents
3.45pm Autotest (Staff Car Park – any Mini can take part)
5.00pm Museum closes


Tickets cost £11.
