MINI racer Michel Périn retires

Michel Périn made his decision to retire from active motorsport. But the French navigator continues his partnership with X-raid as consultant and mentor for navigators and drivers as well as advisory in FIA matters for the Trebur based team. Périn achieved four Dakar victories during his career – his last one in 2014 with Nani Roma in a MINI ALL4 Racing.

“It was Michel’s decision, but we are very happy that he still will work with us and this is the most important thing. We won many races together with him. He was in our first ever built MINI ALL4 Racing in 2011 and together with Nani he took the third Dakar victory for us last year. His experience in the off-road sport is enormous and his support for us in the future will be very important without any question. I want to thank Michel for his outstanding achievements and effort during all the years being in one of our race-cars, even if he will continue to work with us, this is a key moment in his career.”
