MINI launches Challenge 210 special edition

MINI has quietly launched the latest model of its range, the Mini Challenge 210.
To co-incide with the start of the MINI Challenge race series in the UK - which for 2015 will see the new 3rd Gen MINI being raced - the firm has paid homage by releasing this tuned model as a limited edition.

Named the 210 Edition - simply because MINI is producing 210 of them and it has 210bhp - it includes a whole host of equipment as standard, moreso than the MINI Cooper S. In particular, you might be interested in the JCW Pro tuning kit, which features a JCW Pro bi-modal exhaust system fitted with carbonfibre tailpipe (yukky Americanism) finishers. It also comes with 18-inch cup spoke alloy wheels and a unique Moonwalk Grey colour scheme.

The new exhaust system is the piste de resistance of the car with two exhaust modes - standard and track. Track Exhaust mode increases sound of car and is for use on race tracks only. The activation of ‘Track Exhaust Mode’ is not permitted on public roads in the UK. Ironically though, most trackday users will know that racing tracks have a decibel noise limit anyway.
